Now I need Gleaming Streamstone, so I decided to make a fire element bow before going to hunt Kirin. Way back when I first played Monster Hunter on PlayStation, Anjanath gave me a really hard time and I kept carting. Even after switching to PC, it wasn’t easy – I did the assigned quest once and never hunted it again. But I had no choice since I needed a fire bow. Turns out with better weapons, it’s such a pushover… Just repeatedly use power shot → arc shot → power shot → arc shot → power shot → arc shot at its head and it goes down easily.
Hand over those fangs!
I needed a lot of fangs, so while hunting Anjanath I looked it up.
I didn’t know that Palicos could use something called the Plunderblade,
so I gave it to mine and it’s putting it to good use.
Fang!!!
Still, it doesn’t drop them often, so I kept hitting the head with power shots until I killed it.
Then one fang dropped as a shiny, plus 2 more, so I got 3 in one hunt.

I got beaten up by Kirin, and when I was hunting Elder Dragons,
Nergigante was so strong that Vaal Hazak seemed like a bit of a dummy, so I went to hunt it.
??? The power of elemental bows?
Last time I think I spent about 40 minutes beating up regular Vaal Hazak,
but now I can kill it in 15-20 minutes. Is it the power of elemental bows(?)
or is Tempered just higher attack power with no real difference in defense and health…….
I don’t use lances though……..
It has the power to push gunlance performance beyond its limits

I also brought another cat to draw aggro, but it stole a gem……..?
How do you steal a gem that’s “generated inside the body”……?
I wish it had some uses
This is a game that I surprisingly don’t have much to spend money on.
Other than meals, weapons and armor crafting, I have to gather everything myself…
Even weapons and armor aren’t expensive, maybe because I gather all the materials myself(?)
