But Volganoth was actually convenient since it doesn’t go into the lava much. However, Uragaan interrupted the fight and dropped a Scute before leaving. I hunted it earlier for nothing…

Great Girros
At first I hunted it with a bow, but the Girros were too annoying to use Dragon Piercer, and even when I aimed for the tail it wouldn’t cut off, so I decided to try using Charge Blade again.

When I hunted it with Charge Blade, the tail was cut off really easily.
I didn’t see the part break message,
but there was the tail sitting quietly where the Girros had left.
Unlike the bow, there’s the inconvenience of having to chase and run around to land sword attacks,
but when it was knocked down,
hitting it with the axe dealt massive damage which was fun.
Plus the Girros died quickly, so I checked my clear time.
it was 15 minutes when I hunted with the familiar bow,
but with Charge Blade which I was only using for the second time, it was 10 minutes…
Charge Blade: Odogaron
Since I needed the Constitution Charm,
I also hunted Odogaron while I was at it
For Odogaron I didn’t need the tail so I wasn’t even aiming for it,
but it left it behind anyway.
When I first hunted Odogaron on the PS version before, I carted so many times,
but it died this quickly to a raw damage maxed Charge Blade…!
